ALEXANDRU BULUCZ
ALEXANDRU BULUCZ (b. 1987, Alba Iulia) spent his childhood in Romania and has lived in Germany since his youth. He is a freelance author, translator, critic and editor. He was awarded the Wolfgang Weyrauch Prize at the Literary March (2019) for his poetry and the Deutschlandfunk Prize at the Festival of German-Language Literature (2022) for his prose. He has translated Alexandru Vona, Eugène Ionesco, Andra Rotaru and Moni Stănilă, among others, from Romanian into German. He has recently served on the jury for various literary prizes. Stundenholz (Toaca/ Semantron) is his third volume of poetry. He lives and works in Berlin.
